Loan Administrator

MidAmerica National Bank, a locally owned financial institution in central Illinois, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Loan Department as a full-time Loan Administrator in Fulton County. Established in 1933, MidAmerica National Bank provides financial services to local communities through our branches located in Fulton, McDonough, and Marshall counties. We are currently accepting applications/resumes in Fulton County for a Loan Administrator. This position provides administrative services for the loan department. It requires a good working knowledge of the department to maintain operational records, gather data, prepare reports, and perform other related duties.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial, agricultural, and consumer loan documents and process loan files after closing to ensure proper recording.
• Order all documentation needed to complete loans and maintain tickler spreadsheets to monitor file quality.
• Assist loan officers in managing the loan process from application through post-closing and ongoing portfolio management.
• Respond to customer inquiries in person, via telephone, and by e-mail, providing accurate and timely information.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential loan files while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the Loan Department and enhance team efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree required.
• Up to one year of increasingly responsible administrative/clerical experience preferred.
• Proficiency with common Windows-based office software; familiarity with loan systems a plus.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong customer orientation, effective oral and written communication, teamwork skills and strict confidentiality.
• Ability to work under pressure, show initiative, and maintain confidentiality.
