MidAmerica National Bank, a locally owned financial institution in central Illinois, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Wealth Management Department as a full-time Tax Associate in Fulton County. Established in 1933, MidAmerica National Bank provides financial services to local communities through our branches located in Fulton, McDonough, and Marshall counties. We are currently accepting applications/resumes in Fulton County for a Tax Associate. This position is responsible for assisting the Senior Tax Manger in the preparation of individual and fiduciary income tax returns.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Timely complete all assigned activities by Senior Tax Manger of income tax preparation and filing for individual, fiduciary, charitable organizations, and other return types.
• Staying informed of current and changes to tax laws.
• Participating in client and prospective client meetings.
• Expand client account relationship through the sale and/or referral of additional bank products and services to increase fee-based income.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or work equivalent, field of study: Business, Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning, or related field.
• One year of increasingly responsible job-related experience preferred.
• JD, CPA, and/or other similar professional designation, certification, or license preferred or willing to obtain.
• High level of communication, sales ability, customer oriented, and accuracy
